    | Democracy v authoritarianism in the fight against COVID-19

    | Elections

    | Emergency powers

    | Power grabs

    | Alternative governance (e.g. online parliaments)

  • The Tracker was produced jointly by DEM-DEC Director Tom Daly and COVID-DEM Editor Vincent Yap.

Like most DEM-DEC projects, information was gathered through a combination of curation and crowdsourcing, with items sent to us from our partners, network and audience wordwide.

  • The Tracker was produced in collaboration with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), who partly funded the data collection.
